Meet the Owners!

Lorri Matthewson & Anna Trippel

Lorri Matthewson and Anna Trippel have worked side by side for nearly six years, beginning with a traditional workplace relationship: Lorri as the founder and owner of Matthewson & Co. (a for profit social enterprise dedicated to providing economic development support to small population communities), and Anna as part of her team. Over time, the two developed a close friendship and a balance between their left-brain/right-brain approach that has become a strength. (We’ll let you guess which one of them is the left‑brain and which one is the right!)

Fast forward to the end of 2025 when Carlyle's local newspaper (The Observer est. 1936) closed its doors, resulting in the loss of news coverage and an important behind-the-scenes service: commercial printing.

Lorri and Anna recognized the gap this created in the community and saw an opportunity to step in and support local needs — and with the space, resources, and some of the equipment already available, they were able to carry the service forward.

They look forward to supporting the community and surrounding area through this new venture.

Meet the Staff!

Dolores Young - Print Production Specialist

When Carlyle's local newspaper, The Observer (est. 1936), closed its doors at the end of 2025, the community lost more than just local news. It also lost access to a trusted commercial printing service that had supported local businesses, organizations, and residents for decades.

For Dolores, who had been part of The Observer team for many years, the closure marked the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. With extensive experience in print production, customer service, and the day-to-day operations of a busy print shop, Dolores brought a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and community relationships with her.

As Lorri and Anna explored how they could continue providing printing services to the community, Dolores became an essential part of the vision. Her experience helped bridge the transition and ensured that many of the printing services local customers had relied on could continue without interruption.

Today, Dolores serves as our Print Production Specialist, overseeing print projects with the same attention to detail, quality, and customer care that clients have come to know and trust over the years. We are incredibly grateful for the experience, knowledge, and dedication she brings to our team every day.

Simply put, this business would not be what it is without Dolores, and we are proud to have her as part of our story.
